MEET OUR PRINCESS

I am the daughter of Alan and Jill Besler of Worthington and am currently finishing my junior year at Beckman Catholic High School. I first became involved in the dairy industry through showing 4-H calves. I enjoy showing 
cattle and attending a variety of shows throughout the year, including the State Holstein Show and the Iowa State Fair. Along with showing, I am deeply passionate about the dairy industry itself. I enjoy learning about every 
aspect of it, from caring for the animals to making dairy products, and I am proud to be a part of the dairy industry.

In addition to showing calves, I also served as the Iowa Holstein 
Princess this past year. Through this role, I attended various events 
where I engaged with dairy producers and educated others about 
the dairy industry. I look forward to continuing to promote the dairy 
industry this year through school visits, banquets, community 
events, and at the Iowa State Fair, while also meeting new people 
along the way. I am excited for the opportunity to serve the Iowa 
Holstein Association and continue being an advocate for the dairy
