2025 Iowa Holstein & District 1 Shows - July 15th & 16th, 8:30 a.m.

Fayette County Fairgrounds, West Union

July 13th - Bed down beginning at 1pm. No cattle until the 14th.
July 14th - Cattle may start arriving at 8 AM. The Junior Association Exhibitor Meeting will be held on Monday evening, July 14 at 6:30 PM.

July 15th - (Junior) Show starts at 8:30 AM starting with cows first. A free meal will be provided on Tuesday, July 15, for all in attendance at 6:30 PM.

July 16th - Show starts at 8:30 AM with heifers first then cows will start at 1:30 pm.

Cattle may leave after show and all hay or straw MUST be pulled away from front of stalls before leaving.

Show Entry Information:​

• The State Holstein Show will be held in conjunction with the District 1 Holstein Junior and Open Shows on July 15 and 16 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds.

• Entries should be made by completing the online entry form by July 10th. Every animal entry fee is $25, Entry fees should be made payable to Iowa Holstein Association and mailed to Shellie Volker, 12686 U Ave, Sumner, IA 50674.

Other Information:​

• Camping is available on the grounds

• Sawdust is available from Farmers Union at (563) 380-6761 and Unionland at (563) 422-5022.

• A lunch stand will be available during the show.
